Applications now open for Investment Readiness funding

Community Foundations of Canada, in collaboration with the Yukon Foundation, is offering eligible social purpose organizations working in the Yukon the opportunity to access from $10,000 to $100,000 in non-repayable capital through the Investment Readiness Program (IRP).

The IRP provides $10,000 to $100,000 in non-repayable capital to social purpose organizations taking steps towards being investment ready. Funded by the Government of Canada, the program was initially launched in 2019. The Yukon Foundation is pleased to take part in this initiative through the Community Foundations of Canada network, which is a national partner organization in the program.

Social purpose organizations, including charities, for profits, co-ops and not for profits, sell goods or services with some profits supporting a social, cultural or environmental mission. The IRP helps these organizations access services such as business planning, marketing services and financial planning, to increase their own capacity and prepare for investment.

Visit the Investment Readiness Program website to learn more. Applications close on October 9, 2020. Please note: This is a highly competitive program. If you are thinking of applying, we are available to discuss your application with you.
